The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy action RPG set in 14th-century Europe, from Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco. You play as Coen — human by day, vampire by night — fighting to save your family in a story shaped by your actions and the secrets you uncover.

It launches on September 3, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Xbox version supports 4K Ultra HD and Ray Tracing, and the game is part of Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase works on both Xbox console and PC.

Dawnwalker's signature mechanic is the day-and-night cycle: during the day Coen fights as a human with a sword and magic, while at night he can draw on vampire abilities and supernatural powers.

Time itself is a resource. The game runs on a 30-day, 30-night structure — taking quests and making choices advance the clock, and the world changes whether you act or hold back. Your choices, alliances, and what you choose to ignore all shape the outcome.

The story is set in a 14th-century Europe devastated by the Black Death, where vampires have risen to power. Coen becomes a Dawnwalker — a being caught between humanity and vampirism — and must decide how far he will go to protect his family.

From the characters you meet to the alliances you form and the secrets you uncover, the narrative is shaped by player choice rather than a single fixed path.
